Twice is believable and somewhat remarkable, in the literal sense.
It happened once at Benning when it was a domestic violence thing turned into a standoff. It happened again at Lewis when two soldiers raped a girl in the barracks and were on the run and thought to be armed (they weren't).
Like I said, Lewis was a crazy place during the latter half of the wars. The Bales massacre, the Maywand kill teams, and the LTC trying to hire a hit man on his wife and then blow up the state capitol (the stuff that made the news from there) was just scratching the surface. That was a wild arse place.

Several, which definitely implies 4 or more, is not.
Should have said "multiple" or something else. I meant more than one.

In the persons defensed who said he has been on base/post several times during active shooter situation, he is correct. In the military world it happens more often that civilians realize and especially on Army post. I've served 16 years so far and am up to 8 not including time as an Army brat.
