LG Surround Sound sucks playing Netflix

Anyone know what can be done? I know Netflix compresses their audio, but some things just sound terrible. My LG Surround Sound is sweet when playing regular tv or DVDs, but cannot handle certain shows/movies...options? I have read through a lot of online material but see limited options.

Still need more info. What are you using as your Netflix source? The TV, or does the home theater system have a built-in Netflix app?
