No offense but it doesn't matter what you can do at 20 yards in a self defense situation; only what you can do 3-5 yards or closer and in a life or death situation, no one will be perfect at 3-5 yards, ever, or else LE's with all of their training would never lose a close quarters gun battle but it happens. I do agree that you should at least use a quarter to a half of your box off good ammo to shoot, though. I don't use the short barrel boxes I have stock piled anymore as it's impossible to find and has been for a while. If and when it shows back up on store shelves I'll buy some new boxes and rotate stock.
