SW aquarium is one of the most expensive hobby around. A properly setup 100+gal fish+coral tank, expect to spend 5-10K easy.
Plan on having plenty of livestock to die too overtime.

setting up and maintaining a tank is expensive, but it isn't $5-10k expensive.
