Yeah, I get it. My wife was in nursing school when we married. Took her about another year and half to finish after we married. During that time I worked a ton of overtime to help pay all the bills, and paid off her student loans in the process.
Then, about 3 months after she graduated and started working full time, she took almost everything "we" had worked for and was gone. I was bitter for quite a while.
