I listened to maybe 3 innings and in those few innings he missed a few pitches, called a grounder and the runner was thrown out (where the hell did he hit it?...maybe he is broadcasting for people at the game?), called a hit and run on an 0-2 count with 2 outs (sorry that is just not knowing the game), and was confused in a batters interference play.

You do realize that he has barely any experience in calling baseball games right? Baseball will be his worst of the three sports at first because he just doesn't have the full knowledge yet which he will get. He is too talented and from what I have heard works too hard to not get better.

I for one could care less if I know who fielded the ground ball I just want to know if he got the guy out. It's not like I am keeping a scorebook while I am listening on the radio.

And he's still far more enjoyable to listen to than Hawthorne at this point.

Do you care what outfielder catches a fly ball? I think its important when calling baseball to relay that type of info.

I also like his voice but it is going to take time getting used to his style.
