Went with the inlaws a year ago New Years.... it was better than I expected. Food was good (hope you like corn chowder) but not great..... the mountain coasters were pretty fun. Dollywood far exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a cabin south of Pigeon Forge and I REALLY enjoyed the evenings chilling and grilling and Hot Tubbing it. Would like to go back in Summer and do the fishing and float trip stuff.
Traffic SUCKED!
To me it was a lot like Destin, FL set in the mountains with food choices that were not nearly as good.
Traffic was the same, sight seeing was really good, but Destin smashes from a food standpoint.
do the moonshine and wine tastings for sure....
I would go back.... just not soon.
