It would not be in your old mans best interest to sell that watch for scrap gold prices.

On a watch like that if real even the faded insert is worth $900.

It's old. The bracelet gouged the lugs to the point where it has to be on bands, then the movement crapped out. It's a cool gold watch, but I think back in the day they used to make them 14k and not the higher quality golds they do now.

even at 1200 an ounce. he'd b lucky to get 1200

for a what, 20-30k watch?! what a waste of money!!!
