Yeah for the first boil of the season, or for a quick and easy one, I like to do a small batch just for me, wife and kids. I rarely buy them boiled. We like the boiling process as much as the eating.

i always buy half sacks because we like to boil without having to invite 10 people over. Tony's, Montalbanos, and that place where the old Mrs Goldies was will do it. If you're in BR that is. Montalbanos does charge an extra .25 a lb.
