Most rational fans would be fine with him at 12

Could easily upgrade the Dline with double dipping in the 2nd/3rd.

Hell Ireland said there's like 20-30 more dlineman that make the cut this year than usual.

I do not think people are irrational for not wanting to draft him. I think most people get that he is the best WR in the draft. I believe most fans understand the difference in wins between this team with Treadwell vs this team without Treadwell is minimal compared to what an impact defensive player from the 1st round can add to this team.

Honestly the Saints can add either Sanu or Marvin Jones from Cincy and probably expect either to come in here and start while producing no.2 numbers for our team. This offense is top 5 already because Drew is simply that good and makes everyone better than what they are. Drew is actually at his best without a true no.1 receiver IMO because he spreads the ball to everyone. It makes the offense unpredictable.

The Saints are more efficient when Drew is not zeroing in on a Jimmy Graham type every single game.

Meanwhile look at any defense in the league...not even Denver...any average defense and you will see quickly why we set an NFL record for most TD passes given up. Our Secondary on paper is a top 10 unit...Our DL might be the worst in the NFL.
