Brown's overall record was one attracting some of the best talent anywhere over a long period of time and underachieving with it.
His courtside coaching abilities were at time embarrassing, BUT he was willing to delegate at times (Tex Winter).
The game is more competitive now, and signing a kid may get you only a year or two of his talent (instead of four), so coaching is at a premium in today's game.

This might be the most inaccurate post I've ever read on the internet. Not just here. Anywhere.
It's not hard to see that the overwhelming majority of people who are critical of Dale Brown were not alive during most of Brown's tenure.
