In 25 years prior to Brown, LSU won 288 games and had been to only 2 NCAA Tournaments. During his 25 years, LSU won 448 games and appeared in 13 NCAA Tournaments.
He took his reams to 2 Final Fours, 2 Elite Eights, and a Sweet Sixteen.
And LSU fans use him as an example of failure. You gotta love this fricking place.

quote:your use of failure is exaggeration. But he is rightly viewed as an underachiever for the talent he had and don't forget he left the program in shambles.
And LSU fans use him as an example of failure.

I agree with all your post about LSU Basketball and Dale Brown.
It's bad that anyone compares the two.
Who beat Kentucky the most in Rupp Arena?
Remember other teams had great talent as well that stayed 4 years.
Michigan, Duke, UNLV, Kentucky, North Carolina, Indiana, G Tech, etc.
We had to go through these schools and only 1 on that list is a football school, Michigan.
