Still the phone running ios9 does not matter bc the FBI is not asking to extract files from a locked phone.

They want user access using a modified version that gives them unlimited password attempts with apples signature. That's it.

And in the other cases, Apple actually helped extract files from a locked iphone

My question is what happens when this exploit leaks out to the open web? Will the FBI take financial responsibility for massive financial losses at Apple?
