I am a year older than you. I was even able to buy booze briefly before the drinking age changed in 95.

I worked and borrowed my way thru college while living in shitty apartments. Despite paying my own way for school, my tax dollars have been funding mediocre students in the state to go to college for 18 years while I still payoff my own student loans. That is a 2 decade kick in the dick to me. I do think it's shitty that this was dropped on students at the last minute but everyone paying attention saw this coming a mile away. TOPS simply isn't sustainable in this economy.
