Whats up Ace, I understand what your saying, what do you think about the LBer situation....I don't know strong Safety by the way, I'm no alter, that seems like something that you'll would be able to connect the dots on by word usage

Depends on Aranda - if he wants to try it with 4 down linemen this year, Beckwith and Riley have lots of experience - we try Divinity in Debo's spot and that's 3 starters - just need some depth.
IF we're going to go with a 3-man front - I think that's doable as well, but we're going to have guys like Bower and Key as stand up, outside linebackers. We just don't have enough bodies at the position. The staff is obviously aware of that and several guys might get a look at position changes:
Ducre (already announced)
Deondre Clark
Isiah Washington
Devin White
Whatever gets the best 11 players on the field to match up with the offense - I'm in favor of that.

I think we have more flexibility than most realize, then when you hear of Thompson, Voorhies, Devin White, Ducre etc added to the situation gives Aranda even more flexibility, I actually believe that Aranda has already done ALOT behind the scenes as far as his personnel at LB, I'm excited about spring. I also think alot of our 34 looks will be a 43 under with the weakside end standing up. I don't think things will change TOO much this year

I started a topic about the size of our D line earlier, I think we are more than fine on the D line, whats your take on that

Is that guy cooking a rabbit? I knew that would get alot of hate, I have a golden gloves win from high school but I'm not looking to or claiming to be pro, its fun, just as much laughing and joking as punching. Its a good way to stay in shape

We have a lot of potential. Not sure if we have enough size to play a true NT, but Aranda's defense is relatively unconventional in the way he sets alignments. He doesn't play a lot of 2 gap tackle - at least he didn't at Wisconsin. I think the secret weapon here is Orgeron. As I see it, though, only Alexander, the freshman is a true fit at NT. Lacatoure and Godchaux are more athletic and just don't have enough/low enough center of gravity. Godchaux may end up on the end in a 3-4. Ditto for Frank Herron.

Yeah, I don't think Aranda will ever run a "bama" or "traditional" 34... I think Aranda wants to use an attacking fast 1 gap 34, I wouldn't be surprised if Aranda never has a 2gap NT, people may not want to hear this but I think Aranda plays the 34 the way Chavis played the 43.... There are a ton of moving parts to this...I think this off season is the most interesting offseason for LSU in a long time. I will say this, because of the way Chavis recruited, it will be an easier transition to Aranda
