For some, yes. For others, no. If it's home, you never tire of the scenery. Some people just aren't a good fit.
It's as beautiful now as it was 20 years ago. Maybe moreso, as I've explored so many places I didn't know existed.

Even if it is home, you have to go on with life. It's a background feature that you experience in free time. Not saying it gets ugly, it just isn't as much of a focal point as when it is new as life takes over. That's when you have to deal with if the place is a good fit or not.
