Isn't that somewhat discriminatory? I'm all for it, but the current players should also be judged accordingly instead of a 3 game suspension, etc....or in some cases, none at all.

yeah, I'm not really seeing the logic in this decision. These players have already been punished likely by both the state and by whatever team they played for. Now, the NFL is potentially trying to cause further detrimental damage to these players' future for conduct that occurred when they were not part of the NFL.

Discrimination is not illegal. It's only if the discrimination is based on a protected classification such a race or gender. Perfectly legal to discriminate against people who have been found guilty of crimes.
