This season’s average of 9,208 fans at each home meet inside the Maravich Center crushed the old attendance record of 5,633 set last season.
LSU hosted two meets with attendance above 10,000 for the first time in program history. A crowd of 12,217 watched LSU defeat Florida on Feb. 20, and two weeks later a record crowd of 13,179 saw the Tigers beat Minnesota on senior night on March 6.
Utah led the nation with an average of 14,858 fans per home meet, followed by Alabama at 12,086, Georgia at 9,381, LSU at 9,208 and Auburn at 6,188.

That's great.
I ask because I was at the UGA meet on Friday and the basketball game on Saturday.
Attendance at the Gym Dogs meet was 10,244
Basketball was listed at 10,523 because it was a sellout.
There were more butts in seats for gymnastics
