great interview. condensing it down, LSU's run toward the SEC and or NC next year has two weaknesses...

1) QB play. he stated that LSU needs to keep CC on the field and needs to taylor the calls to his strengths

2) our front 7 is smallish and will struggle to stop the power teams of bama, ole miss and arky

don't get me wrong, EVERY team has weaknesses and they have to be overcome to win at the highest level. it seems that the QB is what it is; BH or nothing and ditto with the front 7.

I expect, barring key injuries for LSU to go 10-2 next year dropping 2 of 3 against those power teams.

Yeah, I'm not buying this. What is small about Christian Lacouture, Davon Godchaux, Frank Herron and Greg Gilmore? They averaged 300 pounds last year. They might be a little bigger this year. Lewis Neal is a good sized end, Beckwith is a monster at mlb.

Our defenses problem is that our offense could not control the ball. And save the time of possession arguments. You're always going to have good TOP when you run the ball 20% more than your opponents.

If the offense is good next year, this defense will kick arse.
