Let's be honest. Was there any doubt how he would handle and conduct himself if he was faced with the situations he had to face during and after the game?
Literally everyone that lives outside of Auburn or the Carolinas could have predicted how he would act on the field, sideline, and press conference after the game if things weren't going his way.
We all knew how fake he was and that the real Cam Newton would appear once some adversity hit him. Poor body language, giving up on the team, walking out on his press conference... all of it. He claims that he's having fun because it's just a game, but it's all fun when you're winning. We see the real you when things don't go your way.
He acted exactly how I expected he would, to a T.

He's not elite.
Bottom line. Elite QBs don't crumble like he did. That lack of effort will forever be remembered.
He had a GREAT season, but outside of this year has been mediocre. People were crowning this guy. Anyone that talked shite on Cam was racist or a hater. This is hilarious. Elite QBs are those that are great year after year. I'd say Brady, Rodgers and Brees fit this category. Peyton is obviously done or else he'd be in this too. Big Ben, Wilson are on the cusp. Wilson will be elite as soon as next year IMO. Cam just isn't as good as these guys.

If you've watched football for the last couple of years, you'd know this is exactly how he acts when faced with adversity. I wasn't surprised at all.
