This is false.
You'd be surprised to know how in debt some rich are.

Here's the way it goes:
1. Guy graduates med school
2. Get a job making 250k.
3. Get married to some gold digger.
4. Moves to swanky neighborhood.
5. Gold digger sees the neighbors with lots of nice stuff.
6. Both buy lots of nice stuff to keep up with the Joneses.
7. Whoops, that 250 k didn't cover a whole lot more after dropping the payment on the 500k house, 2 car payments for BMW and a Lexus,etc.
