Haha thanks but I tried that fix! If there is a solution in a forum or something I have tried it.
When I google "Ubuntu login loop VirtualBox" you can see where I've clicked on all but 2 links on the first two pages of results
I may have figured out the problem:
I originally thought my machine was 64 bit, but when I would go into VirtualBox my only options were the 32 bit versions, so that made me think "well it must be a 32 bit machine", so I decided to confirm that, only to find out that it was in fact a 64 bit.
So I Googled this problem and something said I needed to "enable virtualization technology" in order to get the 64 bit. Now after enabling this I am given the option of 64 bit.
Installing now, hopefully I can get past the login screen. I'll let you all know shortly!
ETA: PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! :nana: :nana: :nana: :nana:
Appreciate the help fellas!

If your computer is that new, I'm asssuming it's 64 bit. Based on that. I would ask if you accidentally downloaded the 32 bit version
