But what if I get Google fiber?
ETA: Let me put it this way. Blueray is not mainstream. Nothing that isn't cloud based/streamed will ever be mainstreamed again.
Why do you think BlueRays cost more than state of the art formats of the past? Because you're not getting subsidized by rank-and-file movie viewers.
