You listed 20+ guys and of those list, I can glance and tell you there's a few things:
1. Splashy guys that we'd use all our cap on a single player
- Irvin, Jackson; more than likely Irvin goes to ATL or stays in seattle. Denver won't let Jackson leave unless its too much. In which case, we can't spend too much on a single player
Yeah you list guys like Jones, Harrison, Rey, Brown, and Davis, I can agree on. Younger guys who are productive.
2. Aging/Over the hill guys that aren't great
- Clemons, Smith, DeVito, Cofield; pretty much all are journeymen. You're better off with Kevin Williams who actually showed he can still play heavy snap counts
3. Guys who aren't leaders or "mean streak" players on their own team. Hell, more or less rotation players
- Curry, Gilberry, Acho, Upshaw, Mebane; Upshaw has been a disappointment, Curry is up and down, Jones is average at best, Gilberry is on a decline, Acho has been underwhelming, etc. Some of the players, sure you can get them as rotational at best.
4. Guys who are system players who have bounced around since they left the system or just weren't very good
- Bryant, Fairley, Woods, Knighton; case closed, they've all sucked. Hell we DRAFTED woods.
5. 100% true nutcases and guys who can't get their head on right no matter how many shots they receive. Hell you can't even depend on them to suit up.
- Hardy and Smith; off field issues, side line issues, and can't depend on them when you need it. Look at Dallas, Dez Bryant isn't the craziest person on the sideline that tells you someone is an issue.

We've been so bad on defense for so long it is hard to imagine the saints with a rounded team of good, hard hitting, fundamentally sound players. It is just hard to imagine and it is extremely frustrating.
I have a hard time blaming our players for the finnesse/softness it starts at coaching. The guys on the defensive side of the ball haven't got it done and we continue to not shake things up there. Things like warapping up Seattle and Carolina practice specifically, we do not. Seems like thier guys Sprint off the snap like track racers, ours get off the line slow as shite. That is effort lacking
Ireland will find physical players, the SEC talent, guys weve passed on for fricking Martez Wilson's and Akiem Hicks' of the world.
Just can't see it, the day we have a legit top 5-10 unit( not flukes of '10 and '13) Brees will be long gone
Can't blame the bounty shite either knowing Loomis would have wasted those picks on soft bust anyway.
Great feedback though in all seriousness
