Again we won it in 2009 being #20. Rank in yards given up really doesn't matter at all. In 2010 we had the #4 ranked defense that got punked for 45 points by a 7-9 team in the playoffs.

If the Saints were just a Top 20 defense, we make the playoffs. The lack of a credible defense put pressure on the offense to score on each and every possession. They don't have to be great, just pretty good
Add a competent taller deep threat and the Saints win 11-12 games a year.

We need one of those Vontaze Burfict types that are top 10 talents and fall deep into the draft or out of the draft due to slight character concerns.
