In TDWar you're expected to opt out if AQ is down....a lot of us gem the time for this...allows constant warring which is the fun part of the game imo.
BK down is permissible in most cases, but you may need to hit kinda low.
Hero upgrades above 20 are always 7 days, btw (999 gems for the full time)

Yeah, I'm doing King and Queen simultaneously. I would have been without both for 9 straight days.
