Correct ! It does not have a dip stick. When it started having problems the first thing i checked was the fluid level and it was real low. Then i looked at the rear seal and it had fluid dripping. You have to get under the truck to check the fluid level while its idling in park. It has a 4 inch dip stick inside the trans mission fill hole.

major cause for real seal leakage is a bad u-joint
