Considering a 24oz bomber is much less cost effective for the consumer than a 6-er or more of 12oz cans, I'd imagine that could be a difference.
If I'm going to spend $7 or more on just 24oz of beer at the grocery store, I'd rather it be more something to sip and enjoy than a gose that is easily chuggable after mowing the grass in August.
