My mom has had a few stray cats around our house as long as I can remember and never seen this.

They'll walk on the cars but never scratch them. It's hilarious when you start the engine and they dart out from underneath the engine

She buys the super cheap giant bag of dry cat food at Sams and fills the bowl behind the garage like once a week. In return she gets a squirrel or mouse head on the patio once a week

It takes patience, I have made really mean (bc they are scared), wild stray cats turn into really nice pets..

People just don't have that kind of patience or care for the most part. It's very rewarding though. I often rescue these animals, get them comfortable and find homes or keep them myself. They really can come a long ways.

I don't know why people are so hateful, or make it a contest. I like both cats and dogs very much. So many people just straight up hate cats, and it sucks. I don't care for certain aggressive dogs, but I also don't wish death upon them.
