They have Spiller, who has been nothing. Robinson, who is a RFA and coming off a serious injury. Hightower, who is a UFA.
So yeah. Technically right now if we traded Ingram, we would be hurting for a RB. Ingram is the first back we have had since Deuce that can handle every phase of the game, and do it well. Averaged 4.7 YPC this year- more than any of our other RBS even averaged in any 1 game. Also was much better in pass pro and out of the backfield than in previous seasons. He is the most complete back we have had in almost a decade, and he allows the offense to be less predictable.
Highly doubt he's traded. Also, "mid level" RBs are basically a dime a dozen now. No one is going to give us picks for Ingram with so many available in FA and the draft.
I haven't seen you specicially posting about Ingram before, hg, but the amount of LSU fans saying Ingram is overrated and should be cut or traded on this board is ridiculous. The bias is real. The guy has been nothing short of stellar for us recently.
