fulfills the Rooney Rule requirement. He's a serious candidate at Cleveland and San Fran. Not sure how serious the Giants are about him.

Stop it. He's the hottest coaching candidate on the market. They are seriously interested. He will be able to pick up wherever he wants to go

Stop what? The Rooney Rule exists and this interview fulfills that requirement.

Agree with this. it's a smart choice to interview him. And they may very well have serious interest. I just think they will make a Saban run before offering someone else the job, and Hue Jackson is going to be offered the 49er job and/or the Browns job before the Giants offer.

The obvious implication you're making that the only reason he's getting the interview is because of the Rooney rule
They do have serious interest. There is no "may" about it

Hue Jackson - C - Bengals The New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano reports the Giants' interest in Bengals OC Hue Jackson is "serious." ESPN's Josina Anderson reports Jackson is expected to interview with the Giants Thursday. Jackson has other suitors, most notably the Browns and 49ers, but he will at least hear what New York has to say. The Giants have serious talent deficiencies on defense, but they have a franchise quarterback and a top-tier wide receiver. That is considerably more than what Cleveland or San Francisco can offer. They aren't going after Saban.

Not what I'm saying. I was simply saying that his interviewing there does, in fact, satisfy that requirement. I don't know HOW serious the Giants are about him other than that there is SOME interest. The reports are that the 49ers and Browns are BOTH on the verge of offering him their job. That's my point.

They have likely already offered him and he's probably holding out for a better job..like the Giants
The 9ers already gave up in trying to lure him in, probably means he's close to signing with the Browns or the Giants.
The Saban/Giants thing is totally in your head
