Here's the order:
Coax Connector at wall -> Coax cable -> Modem -> Ethernet Cable (to WAN or Internet port) -> Router -> Ethernet Cable (from any of the other ports) -> Computer
The last two are not necessary if you use wifi. This will keep wifi enabled for everyone else, but you'll have access to a wired connection.
