I can't imagine myself ever quitting work if I still like my job and don't have a ridiculous amount of money since I would go crazy not having enough to do.
This line of thought always perplexes me. Having a very short time on this Earth, with each passing day bringing the end closer and closer, and all you can think of spending your time doing is working?

I enjoy many hobbies and other things, but I like my job and don't hesitate to get up and go to work in the morning. I get to work on solving complex problems each and every day, which I thoroughly enjoy. The thought of retiring only to sit around the house majority of the time watching tv, or looking forward to cutting the grass is not something I look forward to. This is what majority of the retired people I know can afford to do, they aren't out there traveling the world, hunting/fishing, or doing other interesting things 6 months per year.
