If the B1G does ever expand again, I would suspect that the conference really doesn't want to do major realignment again. East/West format is fine just the way it is. I wouldn't be surprised if the BIG went East again and added UConn and Virginia. Just move Indiana back into the West so they can be with rival Purdue again and call it a day.
