The LSU player was over the back of his own player. the Kentucky player wasn't even hardly in the picture. As stated by another poster, that could have been a big turning point in the game had K come back to make a game of it. I do seem to recall a couple of "make up" calls we may have gotten after some earlier bad calls, including the one mentioned. Anyway, great performance by the team down the stretch to avoid what we've come so used to seeing where we've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, going all the way back to the Dale Brown era, the NC State game last year being one of the worst (especially after State nocked off the 1 seed 2 days later!). Had we gotten by State last year, they may coulda rolled pretty deep into the tourney. Hopefully to momentum can continue, although some of the teams in our earlier losses this year are budding up the RPI chart, i.e. Marquette; Houston; etc. Gonna be important for those teams to keep winning to make our losses look not as bad as they looked at the time. Even Charleston is no stranger to the big dance. Probably a post for another subject and yes, Kalipari was a madman compared to JJ. And the foul on Ben for poking the K player in the gut area was followed by a similar blow from the K player. Shoulda been a no call, but at least fouls on both players.
