It's absolutely amazing to me that not one doctor or trainer ever caught the fact he was missing a conduit to remove blood from his heart.
A star athlete in the prime of his game and no one noticed or found it.
Blows my mind.

My understanding of his heart condition was no one would have known of the abnormality unless an autopsy is performed. It was said after the autopsy was done that people with his congenital heart defect didn't live past their late teens and should have died at the most in their early twenties....it's a wonder he lived as long as he did....
