I was working in a paper mill at the time. I remember being prepared to be terminated because I was on the schedule to work that night and planned to call in sick to watch the game with my old man. My reasoning was "I don't know if we will ever be in this situation again for the rest of my life and I refuse to miss it." Funny how attitudes/expectations can change in a 12 year period.
