Of the Louisiana recruits that we've lost that went out of state I can think of only a few that actually hurt us because we lost them:

Cam Robinson-he would have really put our oline over the top the last two years. His power with the likes of la'el and Alexander would have made for a dominating line.

Kenny Young-he would have been a huge get for LSU. Having him would have really helped the lb group.

Landon Collins-I think he would have helped us as well. He would have played over Ronald Martin or Corey Thompson a few years ago.

LSU has lost some WR's but that hasn't hurt LSU. Neither have the few dbs that have left. But imo if we could have landed those guys lsu's teams over the last few years would have been a shade better.

Cam Robinson was huge, but he wanted to play with the other Cam, the receiver that he made Bama take and I don't think we would take him.

Also Kenny Young would have been big, but you can blame 3rd and Chavis for that one.

Landon Collins and his brother were never coming here. Don't kid yourself. For whatever reason we stood 0 chance of getting them. Landon actually played us. He told Mike Scarborough he was all Bama the morning of the all star game, and Mike kept it under wraps when asked about it all morning. Maybe it was the day before but whatever. Those boys just don't like LSU.

I think this years class could be special. If we miss on Haskin's from Maryland you can blame Les and Cam for that. They need to be on his doorstep the second the dead period ends.
