Anyone here ever work for a ski resort out in Colorado for a few months during the winter season? I've been looking into it and have no previous experience, except for snowboarding on vacation, but I'd like to get some more info from other people rather than blindly signing up for it on some website. I've been on CoolWorks the past few days looking up different resorts, but if someone here has done this and has any recommendations for where to work that's what I'm looking for. I'd need to find a resort that provides housing for its employees and possibly transportation since I have an older vehicle and I'm not sure how it's handle the change in climate from the south to the Midwest. Appreciate any and all helpful advice. Thanks.

I lived in Vail for 2 years wish I was still there! You do not need transportation in a ski town all of them have free bus service. Employee housing is like a coed dorm with international women who love american men!

We had free lift tickets for six or seven different resorts. Vail Breckinridge bever creek keystone heavenly is all I remember. Employee housing is kinda pricy.

Did a winter in Telluride it was one of the best experiences of my life. The application process is done all online, and almost everyone who works on the mountain isn't from town. Like other posters said you don't need a car once you get there because of the shuttle buses and close proximity. There are plenty of jobs to pick from, but get it done asap if you want to have employee housing
