re: 311 Day Nola 2016

311 was really the first band that made me appreciate music. That may sound strange, but I found them just at the right time in my young life and they blew me away. Musically, the way you could clearly hear the isolated instruments, and they were all so talented. Everything else out at that time (in my opinion) just wasn't as good.

With that said, I've "grown apart" from them and I don't listen anymore. But they opened my ears and mind to a whole other side of music, and I'll always be grateful for that.
