I speak from experience that reports by news people are not very accurate until all head counts are done and the plant puts out the numbers. As was stated before working in plants is dangerous, we don't make cotton candy and popsicles in these places. That being said, they are pretty safe because of the dangers but things do happen. I know June 13, 2013 changed my life forever. Plants get rebuilt and things go on. I just pray everyone is safe and everything is under control. The fires usually burn longer because you don't put out a gas fire, you isolate the source and let it burn out while cooling and protecting exposures.
