What matters is how many times he was considered an elite quarterback over the course of his career.

2-time Super Bowl MVP.

How many QBs in history can say that?

ETA: 5. I'd say that qualifies as elite.

You think Eli Manning is an elite QB?

He was never elite in ANY season.

IMO, the HOF should be about how you stacked up against your peers, not about how many yards you accumulated throughout your career.

Just for the sake of comparison...

I think he also holds the record for road playoff wins by a qb. Impressive. A hof lock. And a pretty decent overall qb. Btw I am not that worried about regular season stats. He has been proven to be better in the playoffs than his brother who is considered the best regular season qb ever.
