I use 18v Milwaukee on the farm and have never had a reason to try anything else. The 1/2" impact gets used everyday. Also have 1/2" hammer drills, skillsaw, angle drill, and sawzall.
Almost forgot about the grease gun and it is probably my favorite out of all the tools.

I used to use a Ryobi one at work, and Jesus Christ do those things save time 
The motor grader I ran would take about an hour to grease once every two weeks. Using the battery powered gun, it knocked that down to like 15 minutes
