1) take the car to another shop
2) if the new shop fixes problem, submit bill to shop #1
3) if he refuses to pay, share with him the bad reviews you will be posting
4) if that doesn't do the trick, file with the BBB for resolution

LOL BBB is a horrible organization and has zero power to do shite. They are a private organization but because they have Bureau in their name people think they are a Government entity with power. They operate like the mafia in that as a business owner you pay them fees and they "protect you" by making bad reviews go your way or go away. It's a waste of time. BBB is where Yelp got its business plan from.
I had my attorney shut the BBB up real quick over an issue I had with a client a long time ago. No one would take her case because she didn't have one, but the BBB tried to extort money out of me over her "claim". I paid that money to my attorney instead to serve them a notice they would be named in my suit against the client for libel and they shut up real quick.
The better thing to do is report it to the attorney general for unfair business practices.

Here is a misconception that most people don't know about. The Better Business Bureau will not write a BAD report just because you call and complain to them about what happened at said business. You have to win in small claims court in order to LOG and file a complaint with the BBB.
