I live off of Drusilla in a smaller house. With all neighborhoods there are pros and cons. Drusilla is close to almost any and everything. It is also nice that they demolished the apartment complex at the end of Drusilla and Old Hammond, I have found there are less people walking up and down Drusilla. We hope to move into a bigger home in the next few years in the Jefferson Terrace or Westminster Subdivision. The recent addition of LeBlanc's has been nice and the property adjacent to Rocco's is going to be developed into offices. I am a little worried they might four lane Drusilla one day but for now it only backs up during rush our mornings and afternoons.

Unfortunately the bad part is the schools. We are fortunate that we fall within the LaSalle school district for k-5 with (A) rating but if we were on the Westminster side we would be in Westminster Elementary which is failing (D).
