The reason for Bama comparison is because they are in the division. And sec title goes through Tuscaloosa. If you don't beat Bama you are not getting a shot at the sec title. If you don't care about the sec title then why suit up every fall? Right now it just appears that most have given up on winning anything until Saban retires.
