Their fear is at an all time high.

Besides Les made what 50 mil during his tenure at LSU + buyout.

They did much much worse to shula who kept them respectable and then when he could finally recruit with no sanctions they fired him.
Followed by praise for the guy who eventually won with shulas players.

I say eventually because they made $aban the highest paid coach before he ever coached a game there.

I don't value other fans' opinions one bit.

It's so easy for them to be critical.. They don't truly have the best interest in LSU.

Put it this way, would they want Les Miles or say JF as their head coach tomorrow if they had to pick one. Or would they want Les Miles or Chip Kelly.

Ask them that, then get back to me.

Tell me which of these fan bases.. specifically the SEC.. that would take Les Miles even straight up. Then we can talk.

I really challenge any of these people from other schools who say keep Les.. if they would seriously want him coaching their team next season.

I would imagine they would say no, and be very uneasy at the proposition.

And I'm not bad mouthing Les, but I just don't think he's a quality coach any more.. Not here at least.. Maybe he can have success elsewhere.. but which fans would love to have Miles that are bashing us?

What they did to Shula, one of their own was disgraceful.

Don't listen to a Gump when it comes to integrity of football. They'll mask Bear's recruiting tactics, their claim of NCs that they have no legitimate claim, it's win or nothing for them. Heck, half the Gumps I know are ready to buy Saban a ticket out of town anytime they lose a game, and he's lost 5 in 5 years.

Couldn't agree more. As of right now I highly doubt they are scared.

The Bama fan narrative on this is fricking wild.

They really ran with this coaching change.

Completely.

That's not his point.. the point is.. of course they are for Miles at LSU.. since he's lost 5 straight and the possibility of a new coach might ruin that streak.. or at least change it..

Every fan of SECw schools want Miles to stay at LSU.

He's 4-7 against them the last 2 years.

So what? It sounds pathetic to think about a group, that gets to see yet another championship run,and how they're worried. Seriously

I work in Tuscaloosa as well and all I have heard from co-workers all week is what a great coach LM is and how ignorant LSU is if/when they let him go. Pretty amazing since all I have heard over the past 5 years is what a joke he has been. They may not be afraid but they sure want to maintain the status quo!
