Just imagine if Les would agree to spread it out a little...

...and give offensive control to some up and comer. I know a head coach feels like the man in charge...but somehow I don't think Bobby Bowden was as instrumental in installing offenses in his later years as he was before. All he's got to do is get an OC who has innovation, and let him install the offense. (Most coaches are control freaks...i.e.....Saban damn sure controls his defenses...) But, I think Saban gives a bit of "free reign" to Kiffen as long as it works. Miles doesn't seem to want to let go or change. If he would do so, and let some innovative OC install the offense, then there's no reason why we couldn't be great under his direction. Les could be HC..motivator....recruiter...friend....etc..all that he shines at, yet we'd have an offense that wasn't from the 80's. I guess, like Saban, he just can't relinquish that type of control. I dunno.

Where's the discipline? Where's the coaching on all the penalties? Where's the in game adjustments? Where's the clock management? Who calls the timeouts?

When are you people going to realize that the head coach is responsible for the whole team? It isn't going to matter who the offensive or defensive coordinator is. Les Miles is the problem.

I'm imagining myself in a threesome with Maria Sharapova and Eliza Dushku. It's not bad either.
