i like Harris and think he will be more than capable next year. It's tough for a 19 yr old first yr starter against defenses. Matt Flynn comes to mind as well. But obviously most of u who gave cam all the love in 2013 don't want to blame him for the last 2 years. Offense does well, Give credit to OC .offense does poorly blame HC

I don't think it has been proven at all. It's been proven without a capable QB it will be difficult to do better than 19-12. I'll give u that. I'm sure if jimbo had JJ , Jennings and a first year starting soph in the sec west he' would have won more than miles although no one else has even with better players at the position.

What in the f**king HELL dude? I seriously think all you morons are doing this for jokes now. Who in the HELL recruited those guys? Who? Who brought in Crowton who couldn't coach QBs? Who brought Krags who was just another old washed up guy who would bend to Miles' whim? Who recruited guys like Jennings and Jefferson and all these others? Who, after Krags was diagnosed with disease, decided to just say f**k QB coaching, f**k getting another OC, let's let the lame excuse of a OL coach call plays because he did it at Bowling Green a long time ago?

Miles brought ALL this crap onto himself.

Can u imagine if les had Jameis or just a Matt Flynn for that matter these past few years? But it's a moot point Jimbo fisher is the new coach at LSU. Good luck

Jimbo Fisher HAD those guys. Do you know what happened when all his coached QBs were used up? We went straight to garbage. However Jimbo improved Christian Ponder, and recruited and coached EJ Manuel and Jameis Winston into 1st round players.

Rohan Davey put up 3800 pass yards (59%) and 21 pass TDs in 2001 (LSU over 4000 pass yards)

Matt Mauck put up 2825 pass yards (64%) and 28 pass TDs in 2003 (LSU 3250 pass yards 30 pass TDs)

Jamarcus Russell put up 3130 pass yards (68%) and 28 pass TDs in 2007 (LSU 3270 pass yards 30 pass TDs)

Matt Flynn was under his wing for 4 years and that is the LAST QB that has looked competent for us that was recruited out of high school.

Jimbo pulled 2 QBs from Alabama and turned them into 1st overall NFL draft picks.

He actually turned Christian Ponder into a 1st round pick.

Even in a down year, he is passing game on pace for 66% 3272 pass yards 8.1 ypa, 22 TDs and 6 ints. That is essentially what we did in 2013 with Zach Mett, Jarvis Landry and Freakin' Odell Beckham!

Do you monkey shines not understand? Look what Dan Mullen is able to accomplish with 100+ ranked WRs 20th ranked dual threat, not overal QB, just dual threat, and some low ranked TE . He took a guy Miles originally considered a FB or TE, and turned him into to the most successful QB in Miss St history, one of the 3 most statistical QBs in SEC history, and the best or 2nd best QB in the SEC right now.

Look at Brett at Arky. Brandon Allen was awful his 1st year starting. He improved greatly in his second year, and exploded in his 3rd year.

Brandon Allen
3 star (373rd overall 7thQB)

Past 2 years up to this point
403/666 (60.5%) 5308 yards (7.96 ypa) 49 TDs 11 ints

This year projecting the final 2 games
252/386 (65.1%) 3573 yards (9.25 ypa) 34 TDs 7 ints

Here are his top 3 WRs and top 2 TEs

WRs
- Drew Morgan
2 star (2116 overall 152nd athlete) 11 games 52 rec 723 yards 10 TDs
Dominique Reed 1st and only year at Arkansas
3 star (57th JUCO overall 9th WR) 10 games 23 rec 483 yards 6 TDs
- Jared Cornelius (from Shreveport)
3 star (906 overall 121st WR) 7 games 22 rec 358 yards 3 TDs

TEs
- Hunter Henry
4 star (82nd overall 3rd TE) 11 games 44 rec 619 yards 3 TDs
- Jeremy Sprinkle
3 star (605th overall 24th TE) 11 games 23 rec 308 yards 5 TDs

Notes -
1) Jared Cornelius broke his arm earlier this year, came back and is playing great
2) They lost Keon Hatcher (injury) and Cody Hollister (injury), two of their top 4 returning WRs from 2014, within 2 weeks of 2015.

Miles has been here 11 years (and 8 years without Jimbo or Jimbo's coached and recruited QBs) and we still look like paraplegics vs adults on offense.

Dan Mullen had Tyler Russell (guy before Dak) as the single season passing leader in MSU history before Dak. Threw for 2897 yards and 24 TDs (both single season records) in his 1 year starting the whole years. Finished with 5441 passing yards and 42 passing TDs in what amounted about a little over 2 years worth of work. He was recruited and coached by Mullen.

Exactly! They went in on the 10 wins a seasons argument too. They really broke it down. I think folks really latch onto that arguement without really looking at the competition and actual wins versus key loses every year. Bama is the Big Elephant in the room too for alot of people.
