3 points to ponder

It's hard enough seeing all my oilfield co workers being laid off, so seeing Les Miles go with a $15 Million Dollar should cushion his feelings.
1) When you are down by 3 scores with 6 minutes left in the game is there any reason a quarterback should have to look to the sidelines for "the call".
2) Isn't throwing passes like shooting ducks. You lead them a little and be sure you don't hit an endangered species.
3) If I were coaching a quarterback that has no idea what's coming behind him, give the defense on the practice field a paddle to whack his dairy air. After a few good smacks he might think about that.
4) - I know I said three. I would love to have Steve Spurrier. His reason for quitting was not to retire but to find a team who wanted to win, be it little league or any other.

If 3 points were inches and ponder was Sam Ponder, I'd give them all to her.

Thanks for the oil field coaches association point of view.

1. they don't trust his mental capabilities, so he has to be spoon-fed the plays
2. more complicated than that
3. derrière*
4. too old

Spurrier is too old and tired. Coaching is a younger man's game...long hours, 6-7 days a week during the season, recruiting, and travel. Too demanding for a 70 yr old man.

Throughout the years I was always amazed by the faces Coach Spurrier made, but you could always see he was into the game and his facial expressions were entertaining.
